<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet excellent in shape even when the rolling conditions are changed, by controlling a roll bending mean to give the required bend based on a detected bend of the rolling roll. CONSTITUTION:When the sheet rolling is performed through the rolling mill 14 capable of controlling the sheet shape by the specified roll bending apparatus 16, at first, the bends of the rolling rolls 10A, 10B are detected. Based on these detected bend values, the roll bending apparatus 16 is controlled to give the required bends to the rolling rolls 10A, 10B. Accordingly, since the bends of the rolling rolls 10A, 10B are detected directly without depending on an indirect quantity such as bending force of the roll, etc., the bend is detected accurately without regard to the rolling load, curves of the rolling rolls 10A, 10B, roll shift, etc. Therefore, the sheet excellent in the shape is obtained by giving the required bends to the rolling rolls 10A, 10B.</p> |
