PURPOSE:To enable high-level play by easy operation by changing the correspondence relation of a table for determining the correspondence relation between the output signals of angle detecting means and generated sound pitch according to the output signals of pressing force detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A musical sound control data generating means 5 is provided with the table 17a for determining the correspondence relation between the output signals of the angle detecting means Ra and Rb, and La and Lb and the generated sound pitch and a changing means which changes the correspondence relation of the table 17a according to the output signals of pressing force detecting means SR1-SR7 and SL1-SL7. Namely, when a sound pitch assignment setting mode is indicated, a CPU 14 changes the correspondence table 17a according to the operation of a pressure sensor SR1 or SR2. Therefore, the musical sound generating device can be controlled according to the extent of the pressing of finger tips of a hand gripping a member, the combination of pressing fingers, and the bending angles of joints such as the swing-up angle of the arm. Consequently, a player changes freely the correspondence relation between a signal corresponding to the swing-up angle of the arm outputted by an angle detecting means and generated sound pitch and specifies each generated sound pitch with the swing-up angle of the arm at which the easiest operation is performed. |
