A device 10 for displaying the selected adjustments of the machining parameters, used in conjunction with a machine 1 for electrical-discharge machining, comprises a panel 12 carrying symbols, push-buttons 13a, 13b for selecting parameters, a digital display panel 15 and number-selecting push-buttons 14a, 14b, all this on a single stand or base element 11. The panel carrying symbols has a multiplicity of separate surface portions which carry different symbols representing the same multiplicity of different electrical-discharge machining parameters and which are arranged according to a predetermined arrangement. The push-buttons for selecting parameters are used so that the machine operator specifies in succession the machining parameters and are pushed in in order to illuminate in succession the portions carrying symbols for the specification of the parameters. At each specification, the number selecting push-buttons are actuated by the operator in order to select a desired value for the specified machining parameter in conjunction with the display panel, displaying in succession a set of numerical values for his selection. <IMAGE>
