PURPOSE:To improve the data transmission efficiency by using a switching code switching a character system code into a numeric system code to part of the character system code and sending a routine phrase abbreviation code coded by the numeric system code together with the switching code when the routine phrase abbreviation code is sent from a ratio base station. CONSTITUTION:A data inputted to a radio base station 4 is given to a collation circuit 6 via an input/output circuit 5 and when a call number is registered in a subscriber receiver memory 7, a message is sent to the caller side via the input/output circuit 5. The message data inputted via the input/output circuit 5 is given to a detection circuit 8 detecting whether or not the data is an abbreviation code and a signal processing circuit 9. When the signal processing circuit 9 recognizes the sent data to be a routine phrase abbreviation code by the input form a pushphone or the like, the circuit 9 encodes the code by the code of 4-unit system, gives the result to a transmitter 10 thereby sending the data of the 4-unit system code from an antenna 11 as a radio signal. Thus, the data transmission time is reduced and the data transmission efficiency is improved. |
