PURPOSE:To ensure a high throughput by deciding its own transmission timing from a slot timing informed from a master station and a beam number with its own station belonging thereto based on a propagation delay time difference between a predetermined referenced beam and other beam with respect to a satellite. CONSTITUTION:A multi-beam satellite 1 having seven spot beams is used to form seven service area 2-1-2-7. A master station 5 is provided with a means informing the slot timing intermittently or for each slot to slave stations 6, 7 and informing the beam number with the beam of itself belonging thereto to the slave stations 6, 7 in any way in addition. Then the transmission timing decided from the slot timing informed from the master station 5 and the beam number with its own station belonging thereto based on a propagation delay time between the predetermined referenced beam and the other beam with respect to the satellite. Thus, the guard time is decreased and the throughput is improved. |
