<p>PURPOSE:To attain high speed information collection from an external data base and compact data preservation by giving a laser card input output device to a data base retrieving terminal CONSTITUTION:The retrieving result of a data base is once accumulated into a laser card and thereafter, arbitrary informaion is taken out from the information accumulated in a laser card. Namely, a terminal main body 1 is connected through a public line network 100 to an external data base 11 by a communication control device 6. A termimal is composed of a display device 2, a keyboard 3, a printer 4, a laser card reader writer 5 and the communication control device 6 with a terminal main body 1 as a center, and a common control and communication control program to execute the ordinary retrieval and a data control program to control the laser card access are incorporated into the terminal main body 1. Thus, when the printing speed of the printer 4 is later than the line speed, the burden of the line expense in printer printing is not enlarged.</p> |
