PURPOSE:To provide a resin coated steel sheet, by a method wherein a resin film is laminated to the surface of a zinc melt plated steel sheet through an adhesive agent or thermoplastic resin by making use of residual heat of the plated steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:After a steel sheet plated with molten zinc is cooled down to a temperature suitable for lamination with a precooler, a solvent is removed with remaining heat of the steel sheet through thermoplastic resin or application of an adhesive agent to the steel sheet. Then a resin film is stuck and pressure- contacted with a roll. In the case of use under an intense state and for a long period of time such as outdoor use, pigments such as TiO2 and CrO3 are added to resin for respective improvements of ultraviolet light resisting properties and corrosion resistance. When the lamination is performed to a zinc plated steel sheet as it is where ground surface treatment is not carried out, it is good to add the pigment such as the CrO3 or a silane coupling agent preferably into soft thermoplastic resin or the adhesive agent. |
