PURPOSE:To improve photosensitivity and the coatability of a layer contg. a carrier generating material by adding a vinyl acetate resin to a resin exclusive of the vinyl acetate resin as a binder resin of the layer contg. the carrier generating material and making combination use of both. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer 4A of the laminated constitution consisting of the carrier generating layer 2 contg. the carrier generating material and a binder resin as a lower layer and the carrier transfer layer 3 contg. the carrier transfer material and a binder resin at need as an upper layer is provided on a base 1. The vinyl acetate resin is also added to the binder resin of the layer contg. the carrier generating material, i.e., the resin exclusive of the vinyl acetate resin. The vinyl acetate resin is confined to >=50wt.% ratio of vinyl acetate which is the monomer of both resins in case of a copolymer resin. The photosensitivity of the photosensitive body is thereby improved and the coatability of the layer contg. the carrier generating material is improved. |
