PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the freedom of a joint member coupling a swing member to a wheel support part, and at simplifying the structure of a suspension device by forming the joint member with the use of a plurality of pillow balls vertically arranged, and by clamping the joint member by a swing part having two plates mated together. CONSTITUTION:A vertically extending swing arm support part 20 is provided to the forward end part of a wheel support member 6, and first and second pillow balls 27, 32 are fitted in openings 22, 23 among openings 21 through 23 vertically formed. Meanwhile a swing arm 24 composed of first and second members 25, 26 between which the pillow balls 27, 28 are clamped, is journalled to the wheel support member 6. Similarly, the other end of the swing arm 24 is attached to a support member 40 through the intermediary of a third pillow ball 42. With this arrangement, it is possible to enhance the freedom of the joint member and simplify the structure of the suspension device. |
