<p>PURPOSE:To easily obtain an appropriate characteristic by unitedly joining a mirror body and light emitting and receiving means to the outside surface of a transparent body with a transparent bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:The base end face at one end of the mirror body 1 in its axial direction is formed to a 1st reflecting surface 2 having a planar shape and a 2nd reflecting surface 3 partially having an ellipsoid surface is formed at the outer periphery of the end section on the other side. The light emitting and receiving element 8 is formed in such a way that a light emitting element 10 and light receiving element 11 are mounted on both sides of a lead frame 9, with their backs being faced to each other, and enclosed in a transparent enclosing body 12 of a transparent epoxy resin. When the mirror body 1 and the element 8 are joined together, the relative position of the element 8 to the mirror body 1 is decided by electrically detecting the optical efficiency of the element 8 by operating the elements 10 and 11. Therefore, the mirror body 1 and the light emitting and receiving element 8 can be jointed to each other in the best positional relation and a high-performance optical pattern detector can be obtained.</p> |
