摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To eliminate ambiguity accompanying distance measurement, by conducting tracking by means of a synchronism pulling-in device using pseudo- random code series of two kinds or more, while reducing thereby ambiguity accompanying the employment of said device. CONSTITUTION:In a generator 90 of a code series for transmission, first a signal two-phase modulated by using a 5-bit code series 91a for modulation is transmitted, a reception signal is demodulated by using a 5-bit code series 71a for demodulation, a voltage control oscillator 20 is controlled by a first synchronism detector output 25, which is an error signal necessary for synchronization, and a clock of a generator 70 of a code series for reception is adjusted to bring about a synchronous state. Thereafter, a signal two-phase modulated by using a 7-bit code series 91b for modulation is transmitted to the same target, a reception signal is demodulated by using a 7-bit code series 71b for demodulation, and thus both of the code series are put in a synchronous state for the same target.</p>
