<p>A radar system having a plurality of electronically steerable radar beam transmit/receive modules arranged to transmit and receive radar signals both to survey a broad range of direction bearings regularly to identify targets and to track said detected targets more regularly under the control of a control element, wherein operation a time frame is defined and within said time frame a multitude of timeslots are established, each timeslot being assigned such that during timeslot the transmit/receive modules are directed to surveying the direction bearings or tracking a respective detected target, the assignment of timeslots being determined by the number of targets detected.</p> |
