<p>PURPOSE:To prevent growth of sulfuric acid reduction fungi generating at the surface of pipe arrangement, machinery and tools, storage tank, dam or building, etc., by coating or mixing a drug preventing growth of sulfuric acid reduction fungi to the surface of an object or material constructing an object. CONSTITUTION:A) A drug preventing growth of sulfuric acid reduction fungi, for instance, antibiotics such as gentamicin, rifampicin or cycloheximide respectively preventing mainly Gram-positive bacteria, acid-fast bacteria or mold fungi, is coated on the inner or outer surface of pipe arrangement, machinery and tools or storage tank or the surface of structure such as building or dam, etc., or B) said drug is mixed to a material constructing said object and growth of sulfuric acid reduction fungi at the surface of said object is prevented and generation of hydrogen sulfide is defended, thus any erosion, change of properties or deterioration, etc., is defended. Besides, in the case of method B, as the said effect is imparted to not only the surface of object but also inside, the effect is not reduced for the case that the surface of the object is damaged.</p> |
