Date Jun. 6, 1985.A safety latch assembly has a rotatable grip rotatably mounted on a stationary handle and a ring-shaped flange surrounding a substantially cylindrical portion of the stationary handle, an elastically resilient arresting means on the cylindrical portion whose exterior is formed with an arresting face with which a stop face on the inner side of the grip flange engages upon rotation of the grip in the opening direction from the closed position when the arresting means is in the normal position. The grip is arranged so that the arresting means can be actuated through the flange of the grip to disengage the arresting face from the stop face. |
