The circuit checking both of short-circuit and open-circuit of a LCD comprises the clock generator (10) producing 30-300Hz clock signals, the binary counter (20) having 7-bits, the slider switch (40) switching the output of the counter (20), the pulse encoding circuit (30) converting the binary data of the counter into the BCD codes for displaying on the LCD device (60) via the analog multiplexer (50) selecting an appropriate voltage level.
