PURPOSE:To enable a present position to be measured of a work machine with general purpose usability by inputting an external data, actually measured in an arbitrary attitude of the work machine, to a microcomputer to be calculated and obtaining a position measured value of the work machine. CONSTITUTION:An excavator 1, to which a microcomputer is mounted, is equipped with a boom 2, arm 3 and a bucket 4, and an edge point A is provided in the bucket 4. A data is actually measured in an arbitrary attitude of the excavator 1 having a work machine of the boom 2, arm 3 and the bucket 4 or the like, when the data is input to the microcomputer mounted to the excavator 1, the microcomputer automatically calculates each part dimensional data of the work machine. And using arithmetic data of the microcomputer and angle data from a mounted angle meter or an inclinometer performing various arithmetic operations, the present position of the work machine is measured. |
