PURPOSE:To obtain a copy with high image density even at a low latent image potential by providing a means which has a permanent magnetic material and supplies a developer between a floating member for a developer which is provided oppositely to a holder for a latent image and the holder and providing the floating member with a superconductor. CONSTITUTION:This device has the latent image holder 1 and the floating member 2 for the developer which is constituted by using the superconductor and installed oppositely to the latent image holder, and the developer 3 which has the permanent magnet material is supplied to between the latent image holder and floating member. The latent image holder 1 which has a photosensitive body on its surface is formed by binding powder of ZnO, CdS, etc., as the photosensitive body on the surface of a drum made of aluminum with a resin. The superconductor as the developer floating member 2 is preferably >=0.1mu thick. Then Meissner effect by the superconductor 2 which penetrates a carrier 7 for a developer facilitates the separation of toner from the developer carrier 7 to accelerate the development of a latent image in a dark part. Consequently, even when the latent image potential is low, picture quality which is sufficient in image density is obtained. |
