PURPOSE:To obtain a picture having high sharpness by using a base paper having >=0.90g/cm<3> density and a specified content of TiO2 pigment in a coated layer. CONSTITUTION:The title photographic supporting body is a photographic resin- coated paper constituted of resin layers consisting of a layer (B) (lower layer) contg. polyolefin resin and, if necessary, TiO2 pigment, on at least one side of a base paper, and a layer (A) contg. primarily an electron beam setting resin and TiO2 pigment. In this case, the density of the base paper is regulated to >=0.90g/cm<3>, the weight of the whole layers (A+B) is regulated to 12.5-40g/m<2>, B>=10g/m<2>>=A, the content of TiO2 pigment in the whole layers is 2.5<=a+b<=5g/m<2>, the concn. of TiO2 pigment in the whole layers is 15-50wt.% (a is a content of TiO2 in the layer A; b is a content of TiO2 in the layer B). The kind of pulp to be used for the base paper is not particularly restricted. Thus, a picture having superior sharpness is obtd. |
