<p>PURPOSE: To permit a user to easily understand the logging of a selected error by comparing the field of an error log request with the record of an index table, requesting a user message and adding change to an existing message. CONSTITUTION: The central processor 12 of a computer system 10 is provided with a microprocessor 14, a storage device 16 and a controller 18 and the controller 18 controls an input/output operation in addition to the mutual operation of the microprocessor 14 and the storage device 16. The microprocessor 14 analizes the error log request and compares it with an item inputted to one of the plural recordes in the message index table which is stored in the storage device 16. By the comparison result, the user message request is generated, change is added to the existing message and the display is executed in a display device 20 so as to permit the user to easily understand it.</p> |
