Arrangement for working the surface of wires by means of grinding

An arrangement for working the surface of wires is to be improved in such a way that in particular surface errors can be reworked at relatively little expense so that perfect surfaces which do not restrict the usability of the wire are obtained. For this purpose, it is proposed that the wire to be worked is passed through a rotor running round it and equipped with power-driven endless grinding belts in each case guided in closed circuits, the mutually facing inner sides of which grinding belts are prestressed against the surface of the wire.
