PURPOSE:To erase unnecessary images outside a document image area by forming an image erasing area around a copy image based on magnification information and size information by a destaticizing means. CONSTITUTION:When a document is set and when the breadth is regulated, the breadth size W1 of the document is detected and a detecting signal is inputted into a CPU 23. The recording sheets P1-P3 of three different size are prepared in a sheet feeding part 4. The sheet size selecting button 31 of an operation panel 30 is pressed and the size of the recording sheets is selected, whereby the selected breadth size W2 of the recording sheets is inputted into the CPU 23 as a recording sheet size setting signal. A variable power means 32 consists of a lens in a scanning exposure optical system and the moving means of the lens. The setting of enlargement, unmagnification and reduction is performed by pressing a variable power setting button 32. Thus, the image erasing area is formed around the copy image based on the magnification information and recording sheet size information by the destaticizing means 20. Therefore, the unnecessary images of a black frame, etc., are erased which are formed by surrounding stains, etc. |
