<p>PURPOSE:To produce and accumulate celloligosaccharide in high efficiency, by acting cellulase produced by microorganisms classified as Cellvibrio on a cellulose-based substance in an aqueous reaction system and at the same time, by combinining this system with a ultrafiltration reactor. CONSTITUTION:In an aqueous reaction system, cellulase produced by microorganisms classified as Cellvibrio is acted on a cellulose-based substance to produce oligosaccharide from said substance. In this case, combination of a ultrafiltration reactor with the above reaction system eliminates product inhibition and produces and accumulates the objective celloligosaccharide. Only requirement for the substrate is that it is a cellulose-based substance, being pref. noncrystalline cellulose. Said enzyme is e.g., a cellulase to be produced by cellvibrio gilvus. The pH and temperature of the reaction system can be selected from 4-10 for the pH and 30-50 deg.C for the temperature.</p> |
