PURPOSE: To rapidly produce a slide sleeving material in a form of a continuous web by a low cost by laminating first and second webs of a film material at a place to be formed with sidewall and bottom wall of a pocket by heat sealing. CONSTITUTION: A sleeving material 12 is formed of a first polymer film web 16A and a second polymer film web 16B. And, sidewalls 22, 24 and bottom wall 20 and upper wall 18 of a pocket 14 are formed by connecting to the web 16B of the web 16A at a desired place. The walls 18, 20 of the pocket of a certain row are formed intermittently or interruptedly heat sealing extending lienarly between both the edges 30 and 32 of the material 12. The sidewalls 22, 24 of the pocket 14 of adjacent rows are formed by linearly extending heat sealing vertically in a direction of a lengthwise axis of the sleeving material. |
