PURPOSE:To prevent the irradiation and the halation of the sensitive material, and to improve the filter effect of the sensitive material by incorporating a specified dyestuff in the hydrophilic colloid layer contd. in the sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of the dyestuffs shown by formula I are incorporated in the hydrophilic colloid layer contd. in the sensitive material. In the formula, R1-R4 are each hydrogen atom. or alkyl group, etc., R5 and R6 are each alkyl group, (m) and (n) are each 1-3, M is a metal atom. capable of forming a complex body with the dyestuff, X is an anion, (l) is 1 or 2. The sensitive material colored with the dyestuff (for example, a compd. shown by formula II) has a high molecular extinction coefficient at a prescribed wavelength region, but does hardly generate a secondary absorption at an another wavelength region, and also causes no adverse effect, such as fogging and desensitization, etc. And, as the dyestuff is rapidly eluted by the development processing, the color staining of the sensitive material due to a decolored dyestuff does not generate. |
