The aim of the invention is to make using WC toilets comfortable. A metal support frame 1-3, on which is fixed a movable backrest 5 as well as two armrests 10-11 which are likewise movable, provides substantial comfort. The backrest, which comprises a wooden support provided with foam and covered with leatherette, allows the back to rest comfortably. The movable armrests 10-11 support wooden sleeves 11 provided with foam and covered with leatherette, which allow the users to bear on them, hold themselves steady and rise from the seat with ease. These movable armrests lift naturally upwards and thereby permit choice of access from a side of the bowl in the case of a wheelchair being used by persons of reduced mobility, and they also facilitate the transfer of the person from chair to WC. <IMAGE>
