The invention relates to a stereo X-ray device having a control generator (22), two X-ray sources (2, 3) arranged with small spacing, an X-ray image intensifier (5), a television recording device with a television camera (7) and a central television station (8), storage means (10) and a reproduction device (16) for stereo images. The control generator (22) is connected to the X-ray sources (2, 3), the television camera (7) and the reproduction device (16). These components are constructed in such a manner that they can be optionally operated at single or double frame rate under control of the control generator (22) whilst the remaining components (8 to 11) are operated at single frame rate. <IMAGE>
