<p>PURPOSE:To open a water supply valve, feed a specified amount of water, and constantly maintain the storage level of clean water without corroding hot water, by providing a motor- driven waste water valve, a motor-driven water supply valve, and a heater, installing a time counter section to a flow rate detector, and detecting a flow rate with said flow rate detector. CONSTITUTION:In an electric hot water device where a tank 1 is provided with a heater 2, a water supply pipe 3, a waste water drain pipe 4 and a hot water supply pipe 5; a motor- driven water supply valve 6 is installed to the water supply pipe 3 while a motor-driven waste water valve 7 is installed to the waste drainage water pipe 4. In a like manner, a flow rate detector 8 is installed to the hot water supply pipe 5, while a time counter control section 9 is installed to the heater 2, the motor-driven water supply valve 6, the drain valve 7 and the flow rate detector 8 respectively. The flow rate detector 8 detects a flow rate, thereby opening the motor-driven water supply valve 6 so as to feed a specified amount of water. When the temperature of hot water drops, the heater 2 is made to operate corresponding to a temperature drop and heat the water stored in the tank 1. Based on the control of the time counter control section 9, the motor-driven waste water drain valve 7 is opened, thereby discharging the hot water in the tank 1 and opening the motor-driven water supply valve 6 so as to supply water.</p> |
