The vertical rice polisher has roller (1) whose dia. is large at upper part but smaller at lower part and which has ring shaped grooves (2), having layer groove spaces in stems upward. The roller and groove are surrounded by a shell body (3) to keep a regular spacing (4) between the inner wall and the roller. Baffles (5) are attached to the inner wall of the shell to improve polishing efficiently.
