Imidazoline derivatives of formula (I) (I) in which n is 1 or 2, R is hydrogen, C1-C3 alkyl or allyl group, and X is hydrogen, halogen atom, methyl or methoxy, in the form of enantiomers or mixtures thereof, and their pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts are useful as alpha 2-antagonists.
