In a voltage multiplier unit (e.g. for television receivers) comprising rectifiers and capacitors interconnected, rectifiers 7 to 11 (Fig. 2) are mounted on a ceramic frame 12 which also forms the dielectric of the capacitors. Four recesses in the frame are coated with metal layers 1, 3, 4, 6 to form capacitor plates the other plates of the capacitors being coatings in recesses on the other side of the frame (Fig. 5, not shown). The complete assembly may be encapsulated in a suitable medium.</p> |
