The protective plastics insulating housing (1) for heat and cold-conducting fitments. It consists of at least four sections two of which are curved in the shape of a circle-arc, and the other two right-angled. Both curved and angled sections have abutment surfaces which fold over each other (2). The inner surface of the housing (1) has a part reflecting the heat radiation. The end surfaces of the housing (1) have slits (11) in the outside. USE/ADVANTAGE - The protective housing for heat and cold-conducting fitments if economially produced and easily assembled.
