PURPOSE:To enhance hue reproducibility, by respectively expressing color regions (a*1, b*1), (a*2, b*2) and (a*3, b*3) represented by specific formulae by single inks. CONSTITUTION:In a color image forming method for forming a color image by using at least three or more color inks and bonding the liquid droplets of said inks to a material to be recorded, color regions (a*1, b*1), (a*2, b*2) and (a*3, b*3) represented by formulae I-III are respectively expressed by single inks. Herein, (a*n, b*n) (n and m are an integer of 1-3) in the formulae is the sensory chromaticity index on the (a*, b*) coordinates defined in a CIE 1976 (L*, a*, b*) space. The formula I is a region showing an yellow color high in saturation, the formula II is a region showing a magenta color high in saturation and the formula III is a region showing a cyan color high in saturation. |
