L'invention concerne un dispositif de très faible encombrement permettant de fixer un ensemble outil-pignon dans les têtes porte-outil de pièces à main miniaturisées utilisées en chirurgie dentaire. Il est formé d'un clip (1) dont la partie centrale (2) est plane et percée d'un trou (3) qui sert de support et de palier à l'outil-pignon (8)-(9); le clip (1) porte deux pattes recourbées (4) et (5) qui assurent sa fixation et est totalement encastré dans un logement (6) usiné dans la tête porte-outil (7) de la pièce à main. Il permet d'obtenir des têtes porte-outil (7) dont les dimensions n'excèdent pas 4,5 mm en largeur et 3 mm en épaisseur. Le dispositif selon l'invention est applicable aux pièces à main utilisées en chirurgie dentaire. Abstract The invention concerns a compact device for clamping a tool-pinion assembly in a tool head of a miniaturized handpiece used in dental surgery. It comprises a clip (1) the central part (2) of which is flat and penetrated by a hole (3) which acts as a support and bearing for the tool-pionion (8)-(9); the clip (1) is secured by two curved hooks (4) and (5) and in completely encased in a housing (6) machined in the toolhead (7) of the handpiece. As a result, tool heads (7) of maximum width 4.5 mm and maximum thickness 3 mm can be obtained. The device is applicable to handpieces used in dental surgery.
