PURPOSE: To obtain a peeling and blocking resistant image forming material having mechanical, electrical, chemical or thermal stability by incorporating a specified styrene-ethyl acrylate copolymer into a layer adjacent to a substrate. CONSTITUTION: An electric insulating softening layer adjacent to a substrate includes a breakable layer of a photosensitive migration marking material allowed to east on or near the practical surface of a softening layer not adjacent to the substrate and a styrene-ethyl acrylate copolymer is contained in the layer adjacent to the substrate. The copolymer contains about 40-80mol% styrene and about 20-60mol% ethyl acrylate and has a number average mol.wt. of about 4,000-35,000, a wt. average mol.wt. of about 10,000-80,000, about 30-75 deg.C glass transition temp. and about 1×10<2> to 1×10<6> P melt viscosity at 115 deg.C. The objective peeling and blocking resistant image forming material having mechanical, electrical, chemical or thermal stability is obtd.
