The present invention relates to a safety ski binding for holding the front end of a boot, mounted on a ski, in a releasable manner, with a housing which bears, in its rear part, a sole hold-down of the boot. This binding is characterised in that it has arrangements for changing the point of application of the longitudinal force which is exerted radially by the ski stick on the small part of each arm, and, consequently, the moment of force to which each arm is subjected.
