PURPOSE:To confirm a signature automatically and with high accuracy by providing a means to compare and collate handwriting data and decide whether or not the signature by a card holder is obtained. CONSTITUTION:In an IC card 1, the handwriting data of the signature written by a card holder himself are stored. A comparing circuit 6 matches the handwriting data read from the IC card 1 with an IC card reader 2 and the handwriting data signal into a signature area 31 of a tablet 3, it is decided whether or not the signature of himself is obtained and the deciding contents are transferred to a control circuit 7. The control circuit 7 transfers the deciding contents through an input output terminal 8a to a console 9. The console 9 displays the deciding contents of a signature confirming terminal 8 at a displaying part 91. Thus, since the signature cannot be watched in appearance, it can be prevented that another person imitates the signature and abuses the card. |
