The invention relates to a heating-system valve with a thermally influenceable regulating drive, the housing of which has a plurality of connecting branches. One of these connecting branches can be closed by a valve plate. The opposite branch receives the valve upper part. The valve upper part is penetrated by a spindle which carries the valve plate and is prestressed by a compression spring counter to the closing direction. The object of the invention is to render the closing force to be expended largely independent of the prestressing force of the compression spring arranged in the valve upper part. This is achieved in that between an outer flange of the spindle and the housing of the drive or between an outer flange of the tappet of the drive and the housing of the drive there is inserted a compression spring under prestress. <IMAGE>
