PURPOSE:To accurately recognize the number of times of occurrence of soft errors to accurately decide maintenance, operation, and trouble analysis. CONSTITUTION:Address information sent from a central processing unit CPU is held in an address register 1 to read out stored data in a memory 2. The result is held in a register 3 and is inputted to an error detecting circuit 4. When one-bit error is detected by the error detecting circuit 4, a correction signal is sent to a correcting circuit 5 to correct one-bit error. Corrected data is sent to the CPU after being held in a register 6. When a one-bit error occurs, not only the correction signal but also an error syndrome error signal is generated. This error signal is sent to a diagnosing processor and becomes a trigger signal for gathering error information. |
