<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the effects of a base on a magnetic stripe and contrive higher reliability, by incorporating required electronic parts into a metallic card base, and providing the magnetic stripe at a surface part of the card base, with a synthetic resin layer therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A pair of stainless steel outer plates 1, 2 are welded respectively to both surface parts of an outer frame 3 to form a pocket size metallic card base. The card base incorporates a wiring board, on which are mounted electronic parts such as an LSI chip constituting a CPU and memories or the like, an LCD and a thin-form battery. A magnetic stripe 5 is provided on a surface part of the outer plate 1, with a synthetic resin film 4 serving as a synthetic resin layer therebetween. With this construction, the synthetic resin film 4 reduces the effects of the metallic card base on the magnetic stripe.</p> |
