PURPOSE:To attain a processing to correspond to an N-fold number of horizontal display picture elements with one hidden surface processor by using one hidden surface processor in the N-times in correspondence to the number of the horizontal display picture elements and providing the frame of buffer constitution. CONSTITUTION:At first, all the polygons of one picture are inputted to a segment converter 1 and converted to a segment for the unit of each scan line. Next, together with segment data in one scan line, N(the number of repeated outputs)=2 and M=1 are inputted to a hidden surface processor 2 and the hidden surface processing of an odd number-th picture element is executed in the processor 2. When all segment data in one scan line are inputted, luminance data are outputted from the processor 2. These luminance data are stored to a frame 3 or 4 for writing. At such a time, three-dimensional picture data stored at a preceding time are displayed on a CRT 5. Next, the inputs are updated to N=2 and M=2 and the hidden surface processing of an even number-th is executed. Thus, the processing for the scan line existing in one picture is executed and stored in the memory 3 or 4. |
