PURPOSE:To permit the cooling of not only a rotating shaft but also the blades which have hitherto been difficult to cool, by providing the blades so constructed as to permit the coolant supplied in a hollow space of the rotating shaft to pass through the interior of the blade and return into the hollow space of the rotating shaft for discharging. CONSTITUTION:A rotating shaft 1 is provided with a hollow space opened at one end 1A and closed at the other end 1B and openings 5 arranged in axially close pairs in communication with the hollow space thereof. A discharge pipe 6 is inserted in said hollow space to form a radial, space 7 extending axially between the outer surface of the pipe and the inner surface of the hollow space. This radial space is divided into a plurality of sections in the axial direction by annularly-shaped sealing members 8 mounted on the outer periphery of the discharge pipe 6 between the openings 5 of each pair. A blade 2 is provided with an interior space 3 extending in a radial direction with the openings at its base and the interior space 3 is provided with a separating plate 4 extending in a radial direction from a position between the openings 5 of each pair for dividing the interior space thereof into two sections but with its upper part left undivided. There are further provided a sealing member 11 and a coolant feed pipe 12. |
