PURPOSE:To obtain a lens causing scarce surface reflection and having high wear resistance by providing a hardened silicone film on the surface of a plastic lens obtd. by copolymerizing comonomers, by heat-setting a specified compsn. and providing a reflection reducing layer comprising an inorganic compd. to the surface layer of the hardened silicone film. CONSTITUTION:A hardened silicone film having 1-10mum thickness is formed by heat-setting a compsn. consisting primarily of a hydrolyzate or a partial condensation product of a silane compd. expressed by formula III, colloidal silica having 1-100mum particle size, and magnesium perchlorate on a surface of a lens obtd. by copolymerizing comonomers consisting primarily of compds. expressed by formulas I and II. In formulas, each R<1> and R<2> is a group different to each other, one is -H, and another is a group expressed by formula IV; X is halogen, etc., except F; R' is -(O-CH2-CH2)n-O-, etc.; n is an integer 1-3; R<4> is an org. group having an epoxy group; each R<5> and R<6> is 1-4C hydrocar bon group, etc.; a is zero or 1. Thus, a plastic lens having scarce surface reflec tion and high adhesion and wear resistance is obtd. |
