PURPOSE: To easily manufacture and to adapt the closure to a high-speed packing process by comprising a first part engaged with an open neck of a container and a second part forming a cap, and further comprising a pair of hinges projecting between the first and second parts, and a strap extended along the radial direction between the hinges. CONSTITUTION: A closure 10 is made of plastic, and comprises a first part 11 screwed on a neck of a container and a second part 12 forming a cap. A pair of integrated flexible hinges 30 are mounted between both parts, and the skirt parts 15, 22 are connected by a rigid short strap 31. When the part 11 is opened, the strap forms an acute angle A to a plane including a free end 23 of the skirt 22, and the radial length of the strap 31 is less than the length of the arc through which the second part is guided by the movement of the hinges 30 to the open and close positions. A part 34 of the part 12 is thinned to be acted as a spring. As mentioned in the above, the packing speed can be increased by providing the part 12 with the opening or closing tendency. |
