A portable type steam iron is used for hot pressing clothes. It has a gasifier chamber (3) formed on an iron base with a water tank (24) removably mounted on the top face of the base. The object is to make the iron easier to carry handle (15). The gasfier chamber joins with a coupling tube and steam holes opening at the base of the iron. A handle is removably attached to the top face of the base. The tank having a dripping part at the bottom is removably mounted in the handle so that only when the handle is mounted on the base with the tank is its dripping part joined with the coupling tube. |
