PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to obtain an inexpensive optical scanner by fixing at least a part of a fixing shaft of a dynamic pressure spindle bearing and a stator coil of a motor directly to an optical box. CONSTITUTION:A light deflecting means 32 stored in the optical box 31 of an optical scanner 30 has dustproof enclosure and the fixing axis constituting the dynamic pressure spindle bearing of a motor 10 is inserted into a hole 31b formed on the bottom 31a of the optical box 31 and directly fixed on the bottom 31a of the optical box 31. The stator coil 18 of the motor 10 is engaged with a recessed part 31c formed on the bottom 31a of the optical box 31 and fixed and supported on the recessed part 31c. Since the fixing axis constituting the dynamic pressure spindle bearing and the stator coil of the motor are directly fixed on the optical box, the use of a polygon mirror, a case body to be an expensive member for preventing the motor from dust and dust preventing glass can be eliminated, so that the number of parts constituting the optical scanner can be reduced. |
