PURPOSE:To conduct heat insulation and insulation rationally by forming a superconducting current limiter cooled by liquid nitrogen in the triple tank structure of a tank into which a vacuum vessel and an insulating medium are sealed. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting current limiter 1 using an oxide superconductive material is insulated and supported into a tank 3 filled with liquid nitrogen 2. A vacuum tank 5 is arranged outside the tank 3, and a tank 8 filled with an insulating medium 6 is disposed outside the vacuum tank. The tank 5 and the tank 8 are insulated and supported by insulators 7, and the tank 3 and the tank 5 are connected electrically so as to be brought to the same potential. The superconducting current limiter 1 is connected to a transmission line or an equipment on the outside by bushings 10a, 10b through insulating leads 9a, 9b. |
