In a process and an apparatus for mould filling in the processing of polyurethane by the reaction-injection-moulding process on metering installations, the metering operation is ended in dependence on reaching a limiting value for a mould cavity pressure parameter. Consequently, both reproducible mould cavity pressure profiles and reproducible moulding weights can be achieved.
