PURPOSE:To allow a computer system to inquire its state by providing a virtual console controlling means to take out a console input message from message queue and to deliver it to a console input control means. CONSTITUTION:The virtual console control means 8 registers a console output message to the message queue, and takes out the console output message from the message queue, and delivers it to a service program. Besides, the means 8 registers the console input message inputted from the service program to the message queue 4, and takes out the console input message from the message queue 4, and delivers it to the console input controlling means 2. Thus, the console output message can be received without being conscious of the core part of an operating system, and besides, the state of the computer system can be inquired by sending the console input message to the computer system. |
