Novel boron complexes of the formula <IMAGE> in which Y = halogen, OCOCH3 or OSO3H, R = a substituent, R1 and R2 = H, optionally substituted C1-C8-alkyl, C5-C6-cycloalkyl or phenyl, n = 0, 1 or 2 with the condition that R1 and R2 are not simultaneously hydrogen, their preparation and use for the preparation of dyestuffs.
