PURPOSE:To form an image in high resolution and in high contrast and to drastically improve printing performance by spreading photo-conductive toner on the surface oil liquid having higher specific gravity than the photo-conductive toner when image forming is performed by the photo-conductive toner and adding photo-conductive toner single particle layer forming process. CONSTITUTION:The photo-conductive toner 2 which is electrified from the toner hopper 1 of an image forming device is supplied onto the surface of high specific qravity liquid 4 in a liquid pool 3. The toner 2 is spread on the surface of the liquid 4 by toner resiliency and formed into the closest single particle layer. The toner 2 which is thus formed into the single particle layer is adsorbed onto the surface of a conductive image forming body 5 which rotates in a direction A, and the closest single particle layer of the toner 2 is formed on the image forming body 5. Besides, the toner 2, which is most closely integrated, is exposed by means of image exposure 6, and an image is formed. Then, the image is transferred onto a sheet 8 in an electrical field due to a corona electrifier 7. |
